Following on from our study of Daily Life in ancient Egypt, you are required to write a persuasive text addressing the question:

‘Daily life in Ancient Egypt was much easier than life in modern day Australia’.

Remember you can agree or disagree with this statement but you must support your opinion! You also must include an introduction, conclusion and bibliography.

Remember: When we write pieces to persuade people there is a type of style to use. The different topics you address within your argument deserve their own paragraph or paragraphs. These paragraphs start with a topic sentence, which explains what you will discuss and the stance you will take. Supporting sentences will follow and these make up a persuasive argument that supports your thesis, or opening statement. Finally, each paragraph requires a concluding statement that reinforces your argument and confirms your position.
